The Parents of the #1 Pick in The 2019 NBA Draft are HBCU GRADS

Zion Williamson, the basketball phenom from Duke, was picked number 1 by the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2019 NBA Draft. He had the most hype coming into the draft since Lebron James.

Both of his parents attended Livingstone College, a historically black college and university. His mother ran track for the Livingstone Bears.

This is proof that the love you find at an HBCU can and will change the world.
