Presidential Candidate Joe Biden Picks HBCU Grad Kamala Harris As His Running Mate

Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden has selected Howard University grad Kamala Harris as his running mate. While both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have suspect pasts when it comes to legislation that affects Black people, we welcome anything other than our current President Donald Trump and we support HBCU Grads.

If Biden/Harris win, it will be the first time a black woman holds the office of Vice President and the first time an HBCU Grad is Vice President.

Harris graduated from Howard University in 1986. She’s a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

“I became an adult at Howard University,” Harris said. “Howard very directly influence and reinforced my sense of being and meaning and reasons for being.”
