In this clip, Dr Kimberly Wise White tells Todd why businesses need scientists. She goes on to give examples of products and businesses that need scientists to achieve their goals. She also talks about STEM majors earning more than non-STEM majors and how many jobs will be added to STEM disciplines over the next ten years. Lastly she talked about FOSSI (Future of Stem Scholars Initiative). FOSSI is meant to bring diversity to STEM and it does this through scholarships and internship opportunities HBCU students.
