HBCU Grad and Former Mayor of Atlanta Joins Biden Administration

Florida A&M University Grad and former Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms will join the Biden administration as the Senior Advisor to the President of Public Engagement. Bottoms will add to the amount of HBCU Grads in the White House. Current Vice President Kamala Harris is a Howard University Grad.

Bottoms was the second woman ever elected as the mayor of Atlanta, Georgia.

Currently, Bottoms serves as a CNN Political Commentator.

Bottoms earned a bachelors degree in communications with a concentration in broadcast journalism from Florida A&M University. She earned her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. She’s also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

Bottoms is the daughter of R&B Singer Major Lance.
