FAMU Kappas Donate $247,000 to Florida A&M University

On April 22, 1933, Leonard Walker, Sylvester Beasley, James Joyner and George Nairn founded the Alpha Xi chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity on the campus of Florida A&M University. Since that day, the Kappas at FAMU have achieved in every field of human endeavor. Some of the most prominent educators, businessmen, entertainers and professionals have been trained for leadership at FAMU.

This chapter of achievers has always seen it as their duty to give the next generation of achievers as many resources as possible to keep the legacy of excellence alive.

This was evident when the Alpha Xi chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi donated over $247,000 to the University at homecoming.

The mission of the Alpha Xi Gives scholarship initiative is to bring together current and alumni members of the Alpha Xi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. to raise money for Florida A&M University scholarships.
