Detroit Lions Hire HBCU Grad Brad Holmes As General Manager
The Detroit Lions hired Brad Holmes as their next general manager. Holmes was the longtime Rams director of collegiate scouting. Being hired as the GM is a meteoric rise for Holmes.
The 41-year-old Holmes has been with the Rams for 18 years. He played defensive tackle at North Carolina A&T State University.
Holmes led the Rams social justice efforts this past season, something Detroit valued.
The Rams will benefit for grooming a minority GM by receiving two 3rd round picks the next two years.
