Florida A&M University Names New Amphitheater After Will Packer

FAMU’s new Amphitheater is now named after FAMU grad Will Packer. The Will Packer Performing Arts Amphitheater was unveiled during Friday of homecoming. He donated $500,000 for the naming of the amphitheater.

Packer graduated from FAMU with an engineering degree in 1996. While at FAMU he pledged the Beta Nu chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha.

As of 2018, Packer has produced or executive produced 28 films that have grossed over $1 Billion worldwide at the box office.

Packer was recently named the official producer of the 94th Academy Awards in 2022.
