The First Black Mayor of Pittsburgh Is An HBCU Grad

Morgan State Grad, Ed Gainey is the mayor-elect of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

When Gainey takes office on January 3, 2022, he will be the first black mayor of Pittsburgh.

Mayor-elect Gainey graduated from Morgan State University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in business management.
